POEM PARODY | "Leisure" - William Henry Davies

What is this life if, full of calm. What if I live without alarm? I wasted time online all day, Whereas deadlines have no delay. It's sure will be a serious woe And it was me one day ago. With ease my life will end up soon This essay must be done by noon. The sky out there is pale and clear, Just like my mind no hope appears. I now regret I stayed content, Too much leisure time have been spent. This is my life which full of calm, By countless times causing harsh harm.

A man on a bench enjoying sea view. Both hands lifted up. On each side of his arms is the original and parody poem written.
